easter and happy times
My sister and her fiance are visiting over the Easter holidays. On Good Friday we went to Bedfordale for a little RnR, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything was closed anyway so I had booked two chalets down there, brought a couple of friends along and went rowing along the lake, marron catching and generally enjoying the "wilderness", for lack of a better word. We played some family games - Rapidoh, Fact or Crap, and nearly played Battle of the Sexes, but the boys weren't too keen. That's only because they're afraid we'd kick their asses ;)

Here they are, having some yummy food my mum cooked, with the little lake behind them. The chalets have steps that go straight into the water, and each chalet has a little orange dinghy for your own use. My sister absolutely loves them. I think if the dinghy would fit in her suitcase, she would pack it up and bring it home with her. So sad, I know.
One thing they've both missed since they left Perth is Bubble Tea! So my mum and I took them to Utopia in the city so they could satisfy their craving.

I had some Grass Jelly + Milk bubbletea. Never tried it before, found it slightly strange but quite pleasant.
