WHY oh why don't we get A&F stuff here? Some items I really *REALLY* want:

I feel the shopping itchies :)

yay for work

Wow. Can't believe I've been working for nearly a month! I've finally gotten around to installing a blog program on my laptop so that I can blog regularly, so hopefully that will happen.

On the work front, it's GREAT. I'm having a blast, learning heaps, and I'm just loving it! I've just completed my first project for RAC Travel, and am now working on a project for the Commonwealth Bank. I haven't gotten over the crappy traffic on the freeway in the mornings, but other than that, I love going to work every morning. (Ask me again in 3 months and it might be a different story but hey, don't burst my bubble just yet.)

I'm hoping to post more pics up in my posts. They're getting rather boring.

Here's one the boy took of our formal dining area (that no one uses).

grateful

Mid week through my first week at work - I'm halfway there. My brain hurts from information overload and my body just craves for sleep. Do I sound like I hate working life already?

Actually I don't. Yes I'm tired, yes I hate waking up at 7 in the morning when it's raining outside and my bed is oh so warm, yes I'm absolutely disgusted at the traffic conditions on the freeway, but you know, things could be worse. I could be jobless and bored shitless and still going for countless interviews.

So yes. I'm grateful I have a job that pays me decently, I'm excited about being part of a team that deals with advanced technology and I'm really happy about the work environment and the willingness of my colleagues to help this little newbie. Work aside, I'm grateful I have sisters that knit me scarves, make me earrings and buy me stuff, I'm grateful for friends that email me first thing in the morning at work, friends that go out with me for "after work drinks", and most importantly I'm grateful for having someone that loves me dearly, and whose parents take care of me like one of their own.
Grateful. Yes I am.
