alicia makes me laugh

Ahhh nothing beats a good laugh. Alicia provides me with a healthy dose of that once in awhile, and I always welcome it. Tonight we decided to get my "watermelon snow" bubble tea fix. So naturally we went to the most accessible place, just a few minutes from home. But what do you know, their blender was broken. STILL broken, from last week! With the majority of their customers buying snows and smoothies, you would think they would have a spare out the back. But no, we decided we weren't going to settle for something else, so we went off to Bentley. A 15 minute drive took us there, only to find them closing up for the night - it was only 9pm! ARGH! Determination then took us all the way down town, with me in my bright pink PJ bottoms left to look like I was out gallivanting the streets of Northbridge, because she drove and parking isn't flash on a Saturday night.

We also got takeaway for the poor girl's dinner, and ended up in King's Park, overlooking the city and enjoying our drinks and chats. I was telling her a story about a friend's bubbletea accident, and squeezed my cup to illustrate, only to find Alicia with a look of horror on her face. Not knowing what happened, I looked innocently at her and said "what?!", to which she replied "I think a bird shat on me." (We were still in her car.) I laughed until my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets, because we realised that I squeezed the cup a little too hard and one of the sago thingies shot out of the straw and landed on her head, rolled onto her leg, and ended up on her car seat.

Aww it's not that funny now that I'm re-telling the story. You had to be there. You crack me up, lish!!!

Moral of the story - Never, EVER squeeze your bubble tea cup.

Oh, and comments are finally working. My ISP took 2 weeks to get back to me about write permissions. Talk about efficiency. Hmm.
